I installed the screen by myself with no difficulty. The frame around my door is a rough wood finish so I used the supplied tacks in addition to the sticky Velcro. I did let the door hang a couple of days before putting the tacks down the sides so I could make sure it was positioned well for the magnets to close completely. (as to what most people said to do in the reviews I read)
The door appears to be high quality and it has solid strips of Velcro across the top and down both sides. The magnets for the closure are strong and easily come back together after walking through.
