This works really well for my iphone. The grip it holds on my phone is beyond words. It's tight but not too tight, and the little rubber bands give it even more security when attached.
The bike mount comes with 3 little rubber bands & the mounting base. It didn't come with instructions, but it was pretty easy to figure out. I had to play around with it and refer back to the product page but it's so simple to assemble that I am sure anyone can get it put together with ease.Basically you take off the tip of the ball-joint and place the rubber band where the circle formation is at between the ball joint and secure it back into place. Then you just take your phone, I suggest sliding it through rather than trying to push it inside. Once you slide it through and have it secure with the main base, you simply attach the rubber bands, corner to corner.
I tried shaking it off and turning it upside down, it did not budge at all.
I love that it comes with extra rubber pieces. I got one similar to this, & it only came with one rubber piece and my cat got a hold of it and I couldn't use it again. This style of bike mount it prob one of my favorite kinds. It is super strong and I feel like it is really safe.
I would recommend this for active bike riders and would prob trust it for those hard core mountain bikers.
***I did receive this product for free or at a discounted price for my honest review***
