Child safety locks are a must have when having a little one crawling or running around the house. At that age they want to get into anything and everything. What better way to keep your home baby proof than to have safety locks. Not only does this pack comes with the locks but it also comes with the outlet covers as well so you have everything you need in one bundle. These locks are different from what I seen because you can actually adjust the tightness. It's secure and a little baby will not figure out how to remove or unlock these locks from any cabinet or drawers. I love the fact that there is no drilling and puncturing furniture required because it comes with the 3M tape to hold the lock in place (the 3M tape is pretty strong).
Attaching the Kinder Kit child safety locks to my cabinets is incredibly easy. The 3M adhesive on these locks is super strong. Installation is incredibly simple. I cleaned my cabinets, removed the backing from the locks, and pressed the locks into place. I needed only a matter of seconds for each lock.
The child safety locks from Kinder Kit open and close in two ways. To open part A, slide the clip button on the top of the part, and the top releases from the bottom. To close part A, press the top back onto the bottom until you hear a click. To open part B, push and slide the latch cover to the side and then pull the strap out. To close part B, reinsert the strap and slide the latch cover back into place. I personally prefer to use part A to open and close the locks, but the dual options allow you to secure so many different types of cabinets. Both parts are easy enough for adults to use. I can even open the locks one-handed, but neither my preschooler nor my toddler are able to open the locks. I therefore rate these child safety locks as effective against kids but easy for parents to use. I love that I can use the adjustable safety locks from Kinder Kit on both flat surfaces and round corners.
