I think this is overall a very nice case for the price. I am slightly skeptical of how well the design will perform in an actual drop, but it's hard to fault the case for this until it's actually happened. I would highly recommend this case if you simply desire a case that's as minimal as possible to prevent scratches, dents, and maybe a small drop. That is absolutely no installation required to use this phone case; however, there might be some difficulty with actually getting your device / phone into this phone case. 

This is the thinnest and lightest bumper case I've ever seen for the iPhone, it's hard to imagine a smaller one could be made. The bumper itself is made of a thin plastic, and as other reviewers have mentioned is VERY flimsy before it goes on your phone. The clear back plate is nice if you want to prevent the back surface from getting scratched. The phone case is composed of 3 parts that are responsible for the protection of your phone. Two parts make up the bumper that surrounds the outer edges of your phone that protects your phone from impacts and drops. The other part is the transparent plate and it protects the back of your phone from scratches that might be sustained when you are handling or using your phone. There are no functionalities of my phone that are bothered when this phone case is in on. All features of my phone are properly working, without any problem what so ever.

I believe this is a pretty sturdy, strong, and reliable phone case you should grab for your phone.
