This mattress cover is really great. I love that it is waterproof, protects from dustmites & allergies. I always purchase covers for my families beds. I typically purchase a new one after a few or so years. This one is super soft, so it doesn't feel like you're laying on a puppy pad. The top material has has a terry cloth feel to it, which is soft and smooth. It is not a heavy or tall terry, very lightweight. The waterproofing is on the underneath and Comfiy has done a very good job of soundproofing the waterproof barrier. I'm always nervous that since they say waterproof, they are going to be noisy. You barely hear anything when you move your hands over the cover and once the sheets are on you do not hear anything. The sides are made of a stretchy material that were extra long to fit under your mattress by several inches. I purchased the queen size and its covered really nicely on all sides of the mattress.
I really have nothing bad to say about this cover. I would for sure recommend it to families. Having a mattress cover on all your beds will help a lot with allergies.
